WBC count keeps getting lower and lower

I think it’s important when you see the hematologist to know your family history well and make a list of any symptoms you may be experiencing if any. Autoimmune disorders can cause WBC to drop to this level and the hematology workup should include screening for those. Also have a complete list of medications you take as low WBC can sometimes be a side effect of drugs. Glad you have an appointment soon. Good luck.

Hi. Thanks for your reply!

I don't have any family history of blood disorders in my family nor am I experiencing any particular symptoms. One weird thing that I have noticed is more frequent nosebleeds in the last couple of months (exactly when my WBC started declining).

What exact autoimmune disorders can cause low WBC?
