Eliquis from Canada

Starting my research today on buying Eliquis from Canada….. anyone any recommendations?

Interested in more discussions like this? Go to the Heart Rhythm Conditions Support Group.

I can't recall if I sent a note of appreciation for this .. and should have if I didn't.
I was trying to find this access point for sometime. However, I already have a question pertaining to following a discussion topic --- the directions say to access the word "follow" for those of interest and otherwise I don't see that option any place.

It can be a little confusing trying to figure it out. The "Follow" "Following" button is at the top of a Support Group for example Heart Rhythm Conditions and the small bell icon at the bottom of a discussion description is used to select how you want to be notified. Another way to select the support groups you follow is through your Profile Settings & Preferences. You can access this by clicking on your profile icon at the top right of any page and select Settings & Preferences. Then scroll down to the Notifications and Preferences section and click the Edit link to the right of Activity I Have Followed or Muted. This will show you the groups you follow or have muted (unchecked).

Let me know if you still have a question and I'll see if I can help.

Thanks for taking the time to send this and your responsiveness. I'll explore these options later today.

I get my apixaban (generic eliquis) from MapleLeaf Meds. They charge $169 for a 3 month supply (10 mg tablets 2x daily for 180 tablets) which includes shipping. They have been excellent in my opinion. They notify me when I need to reorder, they call me if I my prescription needs to be refilled, and they are on top of everything. Very timely delivery as well. This works great for me.

Sounds like a great option. If you don't mind a question about insurance cos., do you have a Medicare or Medicare Advantage insurance plan and do you have any issues with them paying for the drug. Or if anyone else has done this with an Advantage plan, I'd like to hear your experience(s). Thanks.

I do have Medicare Part D. I've found that buying apixaban in Canada without using Medicare is less expensive than buying eliquis in the US using Part D. Because of this, I don't use Medicare for the apixaban.

You may have posted before….. but have you found a reputable & dependable source in Canada?

Thanks

I’m on Eliquis for AFib. Sept 2023 I had an ablasion and so far so good!
Considering Watchman in the near future to get off blood thinners. Meanwhile, My Part D UHC COPAY for Eliquis went from $137 for 180 tabs of 5mg to $465! Looking into Canada generic but not sure about the quality of the source. So many companies and prices. Almost too good to be true. Anyone have experience with Canada drugs? Recommendations? Thanks!

I have been buying Eliquis from Canada for the last year before that I was using India.
My Canada price is $127 for 180 5MG, India is about $104 for 180 5MG.
Prices vary depending on the dollar.
