Has anyone used the Marodyne device to stimulate bone growth?

@vgkime - you are right - Belinda Beck -LIFTMORE , and Clint Rubin -Marodyne did not see what they hoped to see , but Beck did mention a caveat that occurred that could have played into that . I got the impression that they may continue to look into this because it seems both Beck and Rubin feel like there should have been a positive result or an additive effect when using the Marodyne with the Onero program. Stay tuned hopefully more study will occur.

Dr Clinton Rubin holds the patent on the Marodyne device and is still promoting it, as a medical professional, on YouTube as of October 2022. He conducted the original study for NASA in 2001 which has since been archived by NASA. And now it is advertised on the Marodyne website as originally developed for astronauts. It was a research tool in one study that Dr Rubin did for NASA but has never been approved by NASA in any way. It's a lot of smoking mirrors for the most part.
I know nothing about Dr Rubin personally and had never heard of him until 2013 until my first appointment with my endocrinologist and she gave me a paper they had written, along with his wife, about low intensity vibration and the Marodyne machine specifically. And it could only be the Marodyne. In fact my doctor gave me their business card with the number to call. My problem today is that it is still be promoted by Dr Rubin and Marodyne in vague medical jargon that makes it difficult for the average consumer to decipher exactly what it does do for bone heath.

It is the before and after of my weekly appt. on a biodensity machine. Power Plate brand - not the little home version, though.

I believe Dr Beck, who was disappointed and a bit surprised with the outcome, mentioned "possibly" b/c they were not able to acquire as many Marodyne LIV's as they originally wanted for the study... Although she did say they had acquired 200 plus. Also, possibly, it could be doing something on the cellular level but not sure?

Just my opinion, it seems that's quite a high price for something that has no concrete evidence to prove it does what it says at this point in time. It does gets a lot of air time though.

I believe they are selling the package with all the speakers if you missed it and are interested.

Link only described device and hypothesis no research article? Would be interesting to see if and meta analysis studies on this, but can’t really see how it could be measurable to rule out others factors.

Kudos to Tetris, vgkime, rola and others who are keeping a focus on this "study" and, the Marodyne product in general. I'm a journalist with a personal interest in this subject. It shouldn't be this difficult seeking objective data/info/reviews on this product.
