Hi Sue - forgot to answer - no I do not have bronchiectasis and/or MAC? Diagnosis is chronic bronchitis. Was treated w a variety of meds. Cipro for 3 weeks seemed to have made a dent in it Been nebulizing w 7% clears the airways nicely

Have they repeated the test for pseudomonas? It seems the latest protocols are to try to eradicate it before it can colonize in your lungs and become a long-standing problem.
Also, I was diagnosed for several years with "chronic bronchitis" and "intractable asthma" and thought I just needed to "learn to live with it." Finally, a sharp-eyed radiologist suggested a pulmonology consult dur to "indications of Bronchiectasis."
Are you being treated by a pulmonologist experienced in managing pseudomonas?
