Me too - soda and all those pop stuff don't do me any good. If you look at what those companies put in them - one can wonder why everyone has so many illnesses and obesity because of how much they drink, etc. Think about what the children are facing now, especially the autism that I bet has alot to do with the poisons that are out there.

All of our family was brought up on natural foods, where we made thing homemade without having to buy things from a store. I remember the tastes back then that you can't find today because of all the cross pollinating and re-defining fruits and vegetables to make sure they aren't lost to diseases. No wonder our waters are polluted and our foods carry so much 'poison' in them. Mr WIlliams talks about this in his books. I soak my produce with soda bicarb and that helps to clean them before I eat them. Something we didn't do years ago but now I do. There are directions in his book on all those different disorders you can check out and find what you can do to help yourself. It's amazing really.

I also think the strong usage of Round-up on all our foods causes the increase in new cancers. Then antibiotics in all the meats raised now. RIDICULOUS what the government allows in foods these days.

Government sets the limits years ago on making foods alkaline instead of acidic, how long foods can stay in a box on the shelf and what the labels say for sell dates. Many conglomerates including pharmaceuticals are in on how to pad each others pockets so they all can get in on the open market. But it's an international market which makes it more difficult because China has stolen much of what was US's property and now its' harder to know what is in anything and everything these days, including animal food as well as human food.

Brainsr; good idea to start web site for pain suffers. It is hard to find a site to just talk and exchange ideas on. WebMD has a site but it started to turn a little sour as some were less than supportive. They did not have monitors who could monitor the site on a regular basis and that makes a big difference. You have good ideas and we need to let our leaders know there is another side to the pain coin. Many times you just see negative stuff in the press and no one brings the other side of the suffer. 19lin<br />

CBD Oil from Hempworx has been moderately helpful for me. I can get it from a distributor in my small town or order online. The local provider has researched quality and best price (it is pricy). This is from Hemp, not marijuana. No THC unless you request full spectrum, and even that would probably pass a drug test. It has helped my arthritic fingers. They are still deformed but less painful.

@nurseheadakes I've done this all my life Our son was allergic to dyes, artificial sweeteners so we put a good size garden in with cow fertilizer and I learned to can. When he married he still does as a vegetarian now he cans sauerkraut and pickled veggies One time he ate a candy that had red dye he went to urgent care for Benadryl shot. Everything from the ground use to be free of pesticides now no way. I use vinegar water and soak fruits ,strawberries especially and wash veggies .Where the good old days go .

Vinegar works well too...any astringent like these will strip the pesticides off the foods so we can enjoy them. Allergies is another matter. Many food companies put dyes in our foods to make them look like real food when in fact they aren't because they have striped everything from them. That is why your son and many children have problems with what's on the market these days. I love to make jam/jelly and those type of things when I have the time. Much better than what is on the market.

Hi. I'm Jean. In past 2 years my scoliosis has worsened. Neurologist said it would get worse. It started with hip bone pain so I can no longer sleep on that side. Even sleeping on back is getting painful to butt. When pregnant, I lost ability to sleep on stomach; but now I'm back to that to get sleep when sleeping on other side fails.

REPLY

@bevo I surely can empathize with you. How old are you if you do not mind my asking. What is the doctor suggesting for pain management? My scoliosis pain has worsened. My pain is mostly in my head neck and shoulders. I also have DDD in my cervical and lumbar region. I recently had several facet joint injections in the cervical. I am allergic to all steroids so the pain specialist is using a numbing agent to find out which nerves are affecting the pain the most and possibly cauterize the nerves for longer relief. I still have a lot of pain but the injections have given me some relief.

@lillee, @pa58, Good morning. I regret that you are still uncomfortable and tormented by chronic pain. Because I have been fighting the battle for a few years, I have had a chance to experiment with many forms and dosages of Cannabis. For me, it is without a match for controlling pain and giving you the freedom to enjoy the sunshine and watch the birds at the feeder. I know that there is a lot of hype and holler about CBD oil. What you may have chosen is hemp seed oil. Unfortunately, it doesn't have enough cannabidiol to relieve pain. The real and genuine CBD is from the flowers and leaves of the cannabis plant. Just make sure that your dispensary is stocking the correct products. I would hesitate to purchase online....without a referral from someone with product knowledge. You may also be purchasing total CBD without any THC. I have found that my best results for pain submission are 2:1 (CBD/THC) and 1:1 (CBD/THC). THC activates the CBD and gives you some mental relaxation that comes pain relief. You may want to do a little more research. Here is a link that explains some of the differences between hemp oil and CBD oil. I don't want you to waste your $$$$. https://honestmarijuana.com/hemp-oil-vs-cbd-oil/ . Be safe and free of suffering today. Chris
