"Climbing Back"
Story & Art by: Karen Bejin | Chippewa Falls, WI
"Climbing Back," is an idea that came out of my own reflections about people trying to return to "normal." I don't think it's a matter of one day we'll all just return to the world we left in 2020, as if nothing happened. Especially those who suffered from COVID or lost loved ones have had their lives changed. Most of us have had our lives interrupted in some way. Many people I talk with are excited to return to "normal," but feel anxious and confused about doing it safely. We all must climb back to our activities in our own way, at our own pace, but we're working on it!
