At Mayo Clinic, urologic care is built around a team-based approach designed to provide thoughtful, coordinated, and patient-centered care at every step.

Our Department of Urology brings together a diverse group of specialists who work collaboratively to evaluate concerns, develop individualized treatment plans, and support patients throughout their care journey.

Physicians (Urologists)
Our board-certified urologists specialize in medical and surgical care of conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Many have advanced fellowship training in areas such as cancer care, men’s health, reconstructive urology, endourology, and female pelvic medicine.

Our nurses play a central role in patient care—providing education, coordinating treatments, and serving as a consistent point of contact for patients and families.

Care Coordinators and Scheduling Staff
From the first appointment through follow-up, our coordinators help guide patients through the process, ensuring a smooth and organized experience.

Allied Health Professionals
Depending on individual needs, care may also involve specialists such as pelvic floor physical therapists, radiology teams, laboratory staff, and pharmacists, all working together to support diagnosis and treatment.

Research and Education
As part of Mayo Clinic’s mission, our team is also engaged in research and education—bringing the latest advances into clinical care and continually improving outcomes for patients.

At Mayo Clinic, collaboration is at the core of what we do. By working together across disciplines, we aim to provide care that is not only highly specialized, but also seamless, compassionate, and focused on what matters most to each patient.
