Resource Reminder: Meditation practice

A few weeks ago, one of my Arizona HABIT team members (@AndreaCuc) posted a mindfulness activity. Around the same time, I attended a guided meditation lunch break for Mayo Clinic Arizona employees offered by another teammate (@Paulinehlucas). I am again struck by the similarities and yet differences in mindfulness and meditation. I'm still figuring it all out myself, but I like this explanation. We also covered both in the Resiliency Roadmap series from summer of 2020 (part 5 specifically covered mindfulness and meditation).

So, since you just got to explore a mindfulness activity so well outlined by @AndreaCuc, I wanted to give you all the opportunity to explore guided meditation with @Paulinehlucas. Here is a gratitude meditation with her, which is my favorite!

What do you guys think of mindfulness vs. meditation?

 

I think it's great to have a 'toolbox' of resources that can be used to 'rest and restore' the mind!
