AAIC 2022

Aug 9, 2022 | Dr. Melanie Chandler, HABIT FL Director | @drmelaniechandler

I am just returning to Florida after attending the Alzheimer's Association International Conference (AAIC) in San Diego this past week.  It was great to be back in person with many colleagues from across the globe whom I haven't seen since before the pandemic.  In addition to the lectures themselves, lunch or a coffee with a colleague sometimes is where the most effective sharing of ideas and collaborations emerge.

I wanted to share a link to the Alzheimer's Association's "Highlights" from the conference page (click here).  I found the change of smell in COVID and dementia discussion interesting, and I'm impressed at how nonpharmacological interventions and lifestyle factors really were highlighted.  Take a look yourself, and let us know what you found interesting!
