The HLHS team is gearing up for Feel the Beat 2014. Excitement is building, and we are looking forward to seeing you at another fun-filled and informative event. HLHS Feel the Beat 2014 – It’s All Because of You will take place on Saturday, November 8, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. This family event will showcase the latest research that’s taking place to change the future of HLHS. Join us as we connect patients and guests to the amazing support network within the community of Rochester; participate in fun family challenges; and hear inspiring guest speakers as they talk about the hope and future for HLHS. The Todd and Karen Wanek Family Program for Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) is a collaborative network of specialists bonded by the vision of delaying or preventing heart failure for individuals affected by congenital heart defects including HLHS. The specialized team is addressing the various aspects of these defects by using research and clinical strategies ranging from basic science, to diagnostic imaging to regenerative therapies.
