After the Diagnosis is a free, quarterly, in-person seminar providing a roadmap of information and resources to guide those impacted by dementia and their care partners. It will be held Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 from 12:30-4pm at the Mayo Clinic Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. Topics that will be discussed include:

  • Understanding your diagnosis
  • Managing the disease
  • Knowing your strengths
  • Everyday ways to live well with dementia

There will also be opportunities to ask questions of the experts, connect with others, and visit with community organizations including 125 LIVE, the Alzheimer's Association, Elder Network, Resounding Voices, and SEMCIL. Light refreshments will be served mid-event.

@nrethemeier The conference sounds wonderful! Is there any chance that interested persons could attend through zoom? Or could a video be made and put on MCC at a later time? There are so many caregiver members who would like to attend!
