CA19-9 fluctuated between 116 and 236 while ... the GAC, but never enough to skip a chemo ... hover just barely over 8.0 for quite a while ... , with drops as low as 6.7 last Christmas ... I've had about 4 blood transfusions

It’s not unusual mid cycle for blood ... Basically, chemo targets quickly dividing ... rapidly dividing cells such as red/white ... During mid month the drop reaches a low

I just turned 62; was diagnosed and started the Folfirinox at 58 1/2; started the GAC...
has been fatigue related mostly to low ... and get extra hydration after each chemo ... For hemoglobin, you can get blood transfusions ... Transfusions help but only for a while ... My NP said sometimes the chemo beats

very concerned about the upcoming chemo ... for your husband because of his low ... his body can resume making healthy blood ... Doesn’t mean they won’t go lower for a while ... likely need platelet infusions for a while
