Mayo Clinic volunteers provide patients and visitors with hospitality, services and amenities that would otherwise not be available. Since many of our program's volunteers are veterans, we wanted to share information about an upcoming military event at Mayo Clinic. The Center of Military Medicine will be hosting a free daylong event on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, in Phillips Hall to showcase Mayo Clinic’s military legacy in practice, research and education. Volunteers are welcome to attend.
Mayo Clinic employs close to 1,500 military members and veterans of the five branches of the United States Armed Forces. The program content will illustrate the contributions Mayo Clinic has made relevant to military medicine. The event will highlight Mayo Clinic’s work in aerospace medicine, research, technology, and our partnership in using simulation tools and other means to educate military service members.

This is a free internal event for Mayo Clinic employees and volunteers. You may register online which helps gauge attendance; however, registration is not required. The agenda for this event is also accessible online.
