Patient Spotlight: Hiking the Arizona Trail

Feb 23, 2021 | Dona Locke | @DrDonaLocke

This week, I want to highlight an inspriational story of a Mayo Clinic Arizona patient living with Mild Cognitive Impairment. I have not personally treated or evaluated this patient, but Mayo Clinic News Network heard his story of resiliency and positive attitude in the face of an uncertain future and chose to highlight him. As you'll hear in the video, Burke has set a goal to hike the 800 mild Arizona Trail.

I'm so inspired by all my patients!  I hope this will inspire those of you living with Mild Cognitive Impairment to keep doing the things you enjoy or even take on new adventures! I would love to hear from our members living with MCI in the comments section all the things you are doing to LIVE LIFE NOW!
