On May 3rd the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration presents the AFTD 2024 Education Conference taking place in Houston Texas. This unique event connects people who understand the journey and provides opportunities to learn about available resources and supports and engage with experts to gain insight on the latest in FTD research and approaches to care.

Angela Lunde from the Mayo Clinic Alzheimer's Disease Research Center will be a speaker at the AFTD 2024 Education Conference. Angela's session focuses on how to build resilience through mindfulness. With a focus on FTD care partners, attendees will learn why they may want to cultivate mindfulness to improve their mental health and better provide care and support.
