New Volunteer: Simmy Lahori

Simmy Lahori is our newest volunteer at the Rochester Methodist Campus! Simmy is working at Mayo Clinic as a research trainee, and we are grateful that she has chosen to join our Mayo Clinic volunteer team in addition to her research responsibilities. You may find Simmy assisting patients and visitors at the Eisenberg Subway Welcome Desk.

Q: Are you originally from the Rochester area? If not, where else have you lived?
A: I am from the west part of India.

Q: When you aren't volunteering, what else do you like to do?
A: I am a research trainee. I like to run and hike and enjoy cooking.

Q: What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
A: Phone, laptop, and food

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
A: Graduating from medical school

Q: What is your favorite thing about Mayo Clinic?
A: So many things. My most favorite is the piano at the center of the Mayo Building.
