Olaf Krason has joined our team of Mayo Clinic Young Volunteers! This year, Olaf is a sophomore at Mayo High School. In his volunteer role, he will be visiting inpatients at Methodist with the hospitality cart, offering complimentary activities and a friendly visit.
Q: Are you originally from the Rochester area? If not, where else have you lived?
A: I was born in Houston, Texas. I lived there until I was three. Then I moved to Rochester.
Q: When you aren't volunteering, what else do you like to do?
A: I like to swim and play video games. 🙂
Q: What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
A: A phone, my dog, and food and water
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
A: Being able to speak Polish
Q: What is your favorite thing about Mayo Clinic?
A: The people and the campus!
