New Volunteer: Jack Knell

Jack Knell is the newest member of our wonderful team of Mayo Clinic volunteers. Jack recently retired after working at Mayo Clinic as a Desk Operations Specialist and will be visiting inpatients at Methodist with the hospitality cart.

Q: Are you originally from the Rochester area? If not, where else have you lived?
A: No; moved to Rochester from Peoria, Illinois

Q: When you aren't volunteering, what else do you like to do?
A: Hiking

Q: What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
A: My wife, suntan lotion, and a fishing hook

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
A: Making it to retirement

Q: What is your favorite thing about Mayo Clinic?
A: The community
