New Volunteer: Cynthia Obi
Please welcome the newest member of the MCVP team, Cynthia Obi! A student at UMR, Cynthia joins us as a college volunteer. She will be assisting patients and visitors at the Eisenberg Subway Welcome Desk and also visiting hospital patients at Methodist with the hospitality cart.
Q: Are you originally from the Rochester area? If not, where else have you lived?
A: No, I'm originally from Nigeria. I moved from Nigeria to North Carolina.
Q: When you aren't volunteering, what else do you like to do?
A: I'm in school at the University of Minnesota, Rochester.
Q: What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
A: Skin care, water, and food.
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
A: How far I have come.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Mayo Clinic?
A: The sense of community and family.
