I have a question. Can stiffening heart muscle be reversed so that it won’t develop into CHF?
@msbailey75 My heart muscles are stiffening, and enlarging. They quiver and vibrate as they contract and ease. On a 12-lead ECH, the signal from the left ventricle wall looks like a sawtooth edge. If you have what I have, a hereditary Gelsolin Amyloidosis or any other Amy… with cardiac involvement, right now the answer is no. All you can do is make sure to stay in the best physical shape you can, and relax a lot. Sometimes my tracing is more the shape of a small dome made of saw blades. The QRS is almost non-existent sometimes. There are some meds coming along. Read the Mayo Cardiac Amyloid line. https://bit.Ly/1w7j4j8 "Amyloid and Old Karl"
