The Cancer Education Center was pleased to have Dr. Taylor, a Palliative Care Specialist at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He discussed the difference between palliative care and hospice care and its role in symptom management. He also provided examples of how palliative care providers can help improve the quality of life for patients and caregivers through the coordination of care and advance care planning.
