START THE DISCUSSION in prep for Nov 30 teleconference
I would like to share my thoughts in regard to item #5. Ideas, Inspirations and Innovations - What resource, tool or support would like to have to help you in your role as a Mentor?
I think that this is a technology issue?
I understand the rationale for having the posts listed First to Last, so that a person can read all posts as they evolve. However it is difficult to locate a new entry when is placed in the middle of a discussion.
An example is when viewing the Trending Posts on the Opening Page. or when I see a re-activated forum within a discussion group (the one that rises to the top of the list). Lets say I see a topic of interest that was posted XXmin ago, and then I click on it, I cannot easily locate the most recent post that was referenced post of XXmin ago. This is a big deal when it is a long forum. I know that I can receive e-mail notifications for my preferential groups, however I like the option of checking in on other topics now and then.
Is it possible to add a "newest" or "most recent" in addition to the "First" and "Last" options to the beginning of the forum?
I admit, I get frustrated with a multipage forum if I have to scroll through each page.

I don't mean to be nitpicking, but sometimes I like to refer a member to/ or / reference a particular 'whatever' it is called. I would like to get it right:-)

@rosemarya

You are not nitpicking at all! It is good to have the right words to fit the situation.

I always think of a Discussion as being a part of a large category, fox example - I think that in the Transplant group, "This and That" as a Discussion, the same with "Living Donor."

In my thinking, conversation is what goes on within a Discussion

Group (to my thinking) would be "Transplant" or "Parkinson's" or "Neuropathy" etc.
