I had a liver transplant two years ago this week. Everything has gone very well. I had some scar tissue up by my sternum that has now drop down. It is about 1 1/2” by 6” and a little hard. Will this ever go away or is there something I should be doing to reduce? Tom L

I had a liver transplant 2 years ago. I have a large piece of scar tissue that has dropped from my sternum down to my abdomen. Is there a way to get rid of this or diminish it without surgery? Tom

2nd kidney transplant in 09. Calcium buildup on my aortic valve due to Tacrolimus (FK506) taken as a TCell inhibitor necesitated an aortic valve replacement. The valve was drinking staw instead of half dollar coin size and all covered in calcium.
In case you want to check that out. Nobody told me about the effect beforehand and I diagnosed myself with a valve problem so I went in and they said surgery wass the answer. Drs did fix me but the heart only beats most of the time and misses regularly. Beat beat...........beat beat beat.............etc. Good luck all!
