Thank you, this was most informative!!!

Thanks also to the social media and cardiology teams at Mayo Clinic for making this great resource available to HCM patients. It was very educational and helpful.

Thank you Drs Schaff and Ommen this teaching was very helpful. My husband had a myectomy 6/16, finished cardiac rehab and is doing well. He is a college professor and still has afternoon fatigue. How long is this expected post op? Could this be a result of needing to decrease his Metoprolol ER (25mg once daily) ?

Any recommendations for Doctors in El Paso, Texas for 11 and 12 yoa boys? We are moving there soon. I bullied my way for an appointment for December in San Antonio, b/c they did not want to see the boys until 2018
( the oldest would 14 and has, at 12, already showing signs of adolescence). I think they think I am an overprotective husband, their Dad died while I was pregnant and his autopsy revealed HCM. I get gray hairs just thinking about the boys and HCM!!

Thank you Dr. Schaff and Dr. Ommen, this was very informative and educational. Mayo Clinic is the best!

Thank you for all your questions today and for joining our webinar on HCM and apical myectomy. We will ask Drs. Ommen and Schaff to respond to as many unanswered questions as possible.
