Thank you Drs Schaff and Ommen this teaching was very helpful. My husband had a myectomy 6/16, finished cardiac rehab and is doing well. He is a college professor and still has afternoon fatigue. How long is this expected post op? Could this be a result of needing to decrease his Metoprolol ER (25mg once daily) ?

Any recommendations for Doctors in El Paso, Texas for 11 and 12 yoa boys? We are moving there soon. I bullied my way for an appointment for December in San Antonio, b/c they did not want to see the boys until 2018
( the oldest would 14 and has, at 12, already showing signs of adolescence). I think they think I am an overprotective Mother......my husband, their Dad died while I was pregnant and his autopsy revealed HCM. I get gray hairs just thinking about the boys and HCM!!
