Description
Caring for the Caregiver Support Group meets weekly on Thursdays from 12-1 p.m. Arizona time (Find your time zone.)
This is a group specifically for those who care for a loved one- regardless of their medical issue. This group was formed as a way to connect, share and receive support from others navigating the often overwhelming journey as caregiver.
All caregivers welcome. The group is for caregivers, so we respectfully ask that patients not attend. Currently the group meets virtually via Zoom.

As a caregiver during my partner's three-year illness, what helped me enormously was the monthly "live" version of a forum like this called Well Spouse. As the retro name suggests, this longtime organization is geared to those with chronically ill spouses and life partners, not all family members. Surprisingly, it isn't super well known, even by some social workers. While there may not be a chapter near you, it's a resource worth checking out, not only for emotional support but for members' useful information about, for example, finances, legal issues, household aides, etc. https://wellspouse.org/
