Look up Interventional pulmonologists on Mayo site. You can review the available physicians, their years of experience, where they trained & the research that they have been involved in. I received zephyr valves in 11/2/2023 at Duke & could not be more pleased with the outcome!

If you don’t mind me asking, How are they working for you and how long after you got them did you see improvement?

The valves have worked great! There is a very short recovery period and I realized improvement. The one thing that one must consider is that the valves do not help with congestion and secretions.....that's a different approach. I am trying to get re-conditioned after a period of issues to see if I would benefit from additional valve placement. I would highly recommend as long as you go to a reputable Health Care Center that has experience with insertions of the valves. The only reason that I mention Duke is that they were in on the procedure since it's inception and have been doing them for years, either under Clinical Trials and then routinely once they were FDA approved.
