As the title says...

I am stressed though and I have a headache

It’s not blood, if you're worried, and even if it were, that would be fine.
Here’s what’s probably happening:
when you’re stressed, your body releases adrenaline and other stress chemicals. This can change how your brain perceives smells and tastes, cause mild sinus irritation and trigger headaches that affect your senses

You might also have slight sinus irritation, even without congestion.
and if it is blood, stress can sometimes make tiny capillaries in your nose bleed, creating a smell or taste without any visible blood.

All of this is completely normal and not a sign of anything serious.

My comment isn’t appearing, so here’s the short version.
When you’re stressed, tiny capillaries in your nose can sometimes leak, causing a very small nosebleed that you can taste or smell without seeing it.

This is completely normal and not a sign of anything serious.

ehdog, sinus infection or nasal polyps can cause the smell of copper. Since you taste it as well, I'm guessing sinus. But ehdog, how do you know what copper smells like? I am curious, but the answer to your question can lie in medications or even diet. And then there are other more serious medical causes. like stroke. Don't even consider it.

@ehdog, Hey there. I have had my share of sinus infections. I get a "metallic" taste in my mouth and
liquid things to drink taste metallic. One my sinus infection is cleared up, the metallic taste goes away. I get
terrible headaches with sinus pressure/sinus infections. I would definitely go to an ENT doctor.

Also, tooth decay can cause a bad taste in your mouth. I would start with the ENT doctor first and if you get
no results, see a dentist.

Praying for you to get relief.

Are you taking new vitamins, supplements, medications? As for the suggestion to see an ENT or dentist if it persists, I'd see both.

Now that I can’t eat or drink orally, my sense of smell has really picked up.
