Why are there no internists at Mayo accepting new patients?
How can you access general internists at Mayo Clinic? I have recently relocated to AZ with several specialists already at Mayo, but I cannot access a primary care physician there. Otherwise I really prefer the Mayo system.

We are relocating to AZ for my husband’s work. I was called back to make an appointment but everything the young gentleman was looking to book an appointment was not taking new patients at this time. I need several specialists as well. I have numerous doctors right now and need to keep the continuity of care. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated, Cheers

I live in AZ also and have tried off and on for five years get established with a PCP with no luck. I was finally able to make appt with an ENT late last year for an ongoing earache. I also see a cardiologist there too. Top notch care. I’ve tried to be seen in a few other depts but no luck! I guess persistence pays. I know they use to have a wait list for PCP but no longer.
