Whole Body Vibration for Osteoporosis
I’m looking into Whole Body Vibration to aid in bone building for osteoporosis. I’ve read that Low Intensity Vibration is better than high intensity. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Melioguide.com has some good information about vibration plates and there are other, earlier conversations about this under the heading Osteoporosis.

1 ReactionHi! I was diagnosed with severe osteoprosis. My Dexa score was a -4.0 I'm on Evenity injections. I have a power plate. I use mine daily for 10 minutes. I set mine at level '25'...I'm sure they are all different levels. I read an article about them being effective with bone density. It said you want the vibe to be enough that you're jiggling, but not so high that you are skidding off the platform. If you skid, you are not getting the connection where it impacts your bones.

3 ReactionsOsteo Strong has the Shaker plates. Maybe ask them for research on this. I have been doing it since August 2025 and will post my 6 month Bone Scans when I get them.

4 Reactions@debhatchell As one of the people who slid off the platform, I second yr warning about moderate settings. I broke a toe when I slid off. Not part of the plan.

1 Reaction@tatiana987 Yikes. That sounds scary. I'm hoping this vibe thing is helping.
