Who to see…

Is it better to see a rheumatologist of a neurologist for fibro? Can anyone recommend a doctor on the East coast…maybe Philly or NY? Actually anywhere may help.

I personally started with my primary. I was blessed that he was tuned into fibro and diagnosed me within 10 min. He did a sed rate to rule out MS, Lupus & RA. I have had fibro for 28 years. Please get a complete thyroid panel done to make sure you do not have thyroid disease as it can go along with Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia is tricky. I have been to a rheumatologist and all other autoimmune diseases were recently ruled out due to the fibro progressing. Be your own advocate with the fibro. Fibro covers a lot of territory. There are other posts here on fibro with a fibro group they may be able to help you tremendously. Praying for you. I care.
