Mayo Clinic Connect
I know this is an unusual question for this site,but short of actually “hanging around” the Ortho.Dept how does one find this answer ? I would appreciate any suggestions.

@tallteri Great Question!!
It is so complex. I have had to make that decision at least 4 dozen times in my life. I truely have 100° confidence in the Mayo Clinic process. My most recent experience sealed my confidence. When you call and request a provider you are asked some vital questions as a prescreening process, along with your medical history. They match you with the most appropriate physician for you.
Example: Because my Hypertension is not a simple typical case they paired me with the most experience with Renin & Aldosterone causing Hypertension.
Here is a link that explains the process better. http://mayoclinichealthsystem.org/locations/la-crosse/for-patients/new-patients/selecting-provider
When it comes to Mayo Clinic, TRUST the process. It really does work!!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Franklin Sim at Mayo Clinic in Rochester! Hereplaced my right knee in 1999 and my left knee in 2001. Both knees arestill working perfectly and have full range of motion. His work on my kneeswas wonderful!!!
For spinal surgery, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Michael Yasemzki at Mayo Clinicin Rochester. He is absolutely brilliant, compassionate and amazing! Checkhim out with an internet search….there is not a finer man in theprofession. His credentials speak for themselves; his surgicalaccomplishments have given many people their lives back; and his compassionis evident during his consultations. He is #1 on my list!
