White Button Mushrooms clinical trials.
Hi, not sure if I should post this here, but I will remove this if requested.
I've been talking to some people here and did research on white button mushroom for prostate cancer and here are the findings that I found.

I'm not suggesting anyone do this, but I found it interesting at the results of some of these tests. Consider the sources of these and do your own research and if you find anything to add for or against these treatments, please pass on your results.

Yes, you point out the amount that is recommended - and it’s a lot.
I mean, since it’s a whole food product - and not a chemically altered concentrate - it would be…but it still seems like a lot.
Don’t think you need such a high amount if you use Turkey Tail, but I’m just guessing.
Phil
for me it's not really much. It's like a teaspoon or so in a glass with maybe 4-6 oz of water twice a day. Like Ovaltine chocolate in a small glass of milk. I guess I'm showing my age with that. In pill form, it seems like a lot because of the numbers, but powder not so much. From reading on google, there have been some studies using Turkey Tail for cancer. Again, I'm just going by the quantity used in the studies.
Do what makes you feel good and stay safe and healthy.
Yeah, when you do the math it’s between 6-8 ozs raw mushrooms and thats doable - even in whole/sliced form.
I do wonder, how the anti-cancer effect is altered when it’s heated in food or beverages.
The study did freeze drying dehydration if I remember correctly. Not sure how the places that I got mine from were dried. I'll try to find information on this. The doctor mentioned buying them at the local market but didn't mention how to prepare them for full potency. I can't imagine being a beverage would change things if made fresh. Maybe I'll start buying fresh.

Go for it. It couldn't "hoit".
Hey -- for anyone who ordered the white button mushroom powder: What is the color of the powder you received???
I ordered mine from Bulk Supplements and the color is something close to cinnamon brown.
This surprised me so I went to my favorite A.I. program to check it out. The reply: "A brown color is a significant concern suggesting white button mushroom spoilage and/or quality degradation." Evidently the powder should always remain white.
Question: Has anyone else experienced instances of brown-colored powder?
Mine was brown too. I think that's the way it is supposed to be.
Stir fry is a great way utilize WBMs.
Here's a great recipe:
Fry your protein, remove.
Fry your veggies.
Add the protein, mix then add:
(Premix these in 1cup measuring cup)
1 c chicken broth.
2 TBS oyster sauce.
2 TBS low sodium soy sauce.
2 TBS minced garlic.
2 TBS corn starch.
1 teaspoon sesame oil.
Whisk together.
* Have everything ready before starting!
Thank you. Very informative
https://mushroomwowhub.com/difference-between-white-and-brown-button-mushrooms. The possibly useful chemicals may be common to both. The WBMs also have darker 'fins' beneath the all white caps. If the prep merely homogenizes them there would likely be some color bleeding.
There is a vaccine being studied that targets a multi cancer common biochemical pathway. Hats off to the U of Florida researchers,
