Where to stay in Jacksonville for pain program

For those who were part of Mayo Clinic’s pain rehabilitation program in Jacksonville, can you recommend where you stayed?

Do you know if the program really costs $ 37,000 to $ 40,000 ?

We stayed at the Marriot right on across the street from Mayo. Beautiful short walk to class.
Very, very comfortable at the Marriott. Delicious dining, breakfast and dinner. Very good service, wonderful staff.
I am not sure if the Marriott is still operating at this time. While we were there last year at this time, a Hilton right behind the Mariott was under construction.
At that time, I heard at some point the Marriot would be used for another purpose. Not sure at all when that was going to happen.
There are other very nice accomodations in the area, but I needed to be in walking distance for the program.
We thoroughly enjoyed being in Jacksonville and took advantage of many, many delicious restaurants. Many in the beach area which is very close.

Thank you. Did the program help you a lot? I am very excited to get started because this pain has been relentless. And thanks for the information about the hotels. We actually just booked an airbnb that is a five minute walk and looks really nice.

You'd have to check with your insurance.

Yes, the program helped me immensely. I learned so much which I continue to follow each day. I am so grateful to have the privilege of being a participant in this amazing program.
I wish you all the best as you begin your program. You will meet some extraordinary and caring people.

Sounds like the perfect location. I thoroughly enjoyed being in Jacksonville.
