When to start PT

I had a partial left knee replacement about 24 hours ago. I am/was an avid 70 YO softball player and I want to get back in the game as quickly as possible. I also would like to return to competitive sprint running. Am I expecting too much? I can be a really good patient if there is a chance it will get me back in the game. Thoughts anyone. I know nothing. Please help.

i wish i had explored alternatives. Yesterday i met with my surgeon and he wants to do a second tkr as the first is getting loose. I cannot bring myself to go through that again. I did do the stem cells on the left knee and that worked. Regennexx, which is a great web site, is telling people to not do scoping of the knee as arthritis sets in. If you decide to do stem cells make sure they use yours and not stems from another person. Most likely they are dead cells.
By the way my first tkr was 6 years ago. Many have good luck but many do not.
