When family tells me to give up...lower back and hip very painful
In last 6 months my lower back and hip have been more painful than ever.
I've been doing as much as I can to find help just gathering info and deciding on ways to resolve. I'm (a young lol) 68. Very active all my life riding horses and hiking.
We have realized a weight lifting 3 month program I did in the fall put pressure and compression on my lower spine - bam ok mistake made. Walking is incredibily painful after 10 minutes.
Injections, steroids - temporary help. I'm trying acupuncture & looking at high cbd/low thc tinture. Will be getting an MRI soon for more info then who knows what the advice will be.
BUT - my family is shaming me for not retiring from my job which I NEED & like. And they tell me to stop being active - stop the hikes, hore someone to walk my dog??? I like to dance and they shamed me on that.
You guys in this group understand I think... I will not let them discourage me - damn it's hard enough then no support?

I'm trying lazar with accupuncture and it seems to be working for my spinal stenosis.
