What's up with the pain medication
I'm not sure if any members are experiencing this butI am. I am a chronic pain patient. I'm seen for back pain a long with many other issues.
I get a prescription for morphine , used twice a day for 30 days. That medication has been out of stock for over two months here. I also have had problems with 10/325 hydrocodone. They limit my prescriptions to 120 per month. It's also difficult to get. Is anyone else experiencing these issues? Please advise.

Indica and sativa (Cannabis indica and Cannabis sativa) are the two main types of marijuana plants from which other cannabis hybrids can be made. Indica tends to be more relaxing and may be better at controlling pain, while sativa is more energizing.
Thank you. I knew the community could help!
I have broken or fractured 5 vertebra. Because I have severe Osteoporosis my Orthopedic Spine Surgeon can't operate on my back because my bones would shatter. I see a pain specialist but because I take ClonazaPAM he won't give me anything stronger than 5 mg. of Oxicodone 3 times a day. That's not enough to touch the pain. Now he wants to have a Spine Stimulator Device inserted since we have tried everything else. Does anyone out there have one of these devices implanted in them and, if so, has it helped you and have you had any complications with it. Thank you so much.

I agree that 3 oxy's is not enough to stop your pain. I would think twice about the stimulator. Ive had two different stimulator's in my back. Neither of the two provided any relief. They both irritated my spine to the point I thought I was going nuts. No reprogramming helped with the stimulators. My pain management Doctor does keep my meds up that it does not eliminate my pain, just dulls it.I sympathize with you. Your Doctor has left you with almost no options. I would seek a second opinion. Be careful. It may look like you are doctor shopping. Let the clinic know you want a second opinion on the stimulator. I hope you can find a physician that can help you.

Someone who really knows what it’s like!
@mamawnebel
I have one implanted for two months now. Gives me no relief of my horrible Diabetic neuropathy pain at all. The sad part is that when I underwent the trial model, I had so much relief and painless days and nights.
I am miserable after two months of the permanent model. Back to old painful self. The representatives and Physicians do not seem to care about what a situation this is that I am living with!
I am going to see my surgeon (they booked me in last week of Oct) to get this situation straightened out! So much pain!
Also if your spine is so delicate, you may want to be careful and ask your Surgeon about your frail back and what could go wrong. Just to be extra sure.

@mamawnebel my pain doctor won't prescribe an opiod if I take a benzodiazepam. Consider yourself lucky. Id trade places with you any day...
@christine5 Unfortunately, medical Marijuana is highly illegal in Texas.
I dont know if it would help or not, but I did eat an edible when I visited California. It took away my pain, inhibitions, and gave me a tremendous appetite.
I don't know if it works for pain comtrol, but I would give it a try.
@koneil -'at some of the Indian reservations in NY, medical marijuana is available.
