What's outside of your picture window today?

Posted by John, Volunteer Mentor @johnbishop, Nov 25, 2020

As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?

For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

@johnbishop Beautiful pix. Thank you.

It's beautiful here, but, extremely hot and humid. The deer are having a feast on my flowers....even with using shaved Irish Spring Soap around them! I think they have become immune to the smell.

No hummingbirds in a while. Not sure if its the heat or not. I keep fresh sugar water in the feeder.

Praying for rain for our farmers as we are going through a drought and our grass is pitiful this year.

Have a blessed day Mr. John!

@covidstinks2023 We need good rain, badly, too. Heat and humidity awful. Yard getting brown.

@dederickve Praying for the Lord to send you rain. We have had 3 storms in the past few days, but, could use more. Grateful for what we did get.

Have a blessed weekend and stay cool!

Enjoying watching the moths around my Four O’Clocks in the late evenings. Of course, the Hummingbirds, too, but what has happened, to them ? We used to have too many to count, but the past few years, just a few.

@dederickve

I have read that hummingbirds are one of the most endangered bird populations. What have we done????!!

Love everyone's posts. Let's see, outside my living room is a large expanse of green grass and across the street behind my mailbox is a sea of tall green trees. I miss my beach views, so it's comforting to call them a sea of green in my view.

Photo from porch, not my window view.

My photo is from my patio, not my picture window.
