Whats my future?

With this discussion of "keep moving" even when we are facing more and more debilitating symptoms, I was reminded of the story of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, who suffered from severe rheumatoid arthritis during the last 30 years of his life. Renoir never let it stop him from painting, which he continued until the day before his death in 1919. When his hands became so arthritic and gnarled that he could no longer use them to pick up the brush, his son would fit the brushes into his hands for him to paint. By the time of this video that was filmed four years before his death he was confined to a wheelchair as he could no longer walk. His life had changed drastically by this point.... but he never stopped moving.... right up to the end, and he continued to produce incredible paintings that remain with us today! We may no longer get about in the same way we did decades ago, but we can continue to try and find joy in each day.... even in little things. One of the biggest hurdles for me, and perhaps many others, has been the psychological impact of the neuropathy. As I read somewhere years ago, "depression hates a moving target." I hope this post doesn't come across as preaching, because I do KNOW how difficult the challenges can be.... and so many suffer much worse than I.
