I had a RML lobectomy and RLL basilar segmentectomy in September 2025. The surgery was robotic- NYU
Langone. I see a thoracic oncologist at Perlmutter Cancer Center. Dx it typical
CT scans are every six months for two years and yearly up to the 5th year. First scan was non- contrast in January 2026.
I requested second scan which will be in July 2026 have contrast.
I am also seeing a cardiologist for follow up - blood pressure fluctuations and rapid pulse rate.
I appreciate your responses and hope all goes well!

What was your original dx.
and was your six month scan with contrast. Neuroendocrine Cancer is a challenge. There appears to always be a challenge. Resilience
@haelsky hi I had a typical carcinoid with STAS positive in Nov my surgeon didn’t even think it was cancer cause it apparently was there for 4 years no change and it was low uptake 2.9 on the pet scan. this was my 6 month follow up with no contrast that why this mass is 3.1 cm they say it been there same for 5 years lit up on ct with contrast Feb 2025 no one put it on my report but radiologist saw it went back to Feb ct and then said he thought it to be a neuroendocrine neoplasm but it didn’t lit up on the ga68 so now they are sending me for an MRI and yet I still haven’t been sent to our cross cancer centre here in Edmonton where they have a specialize net dept what did show up n both pet scan and ga68 was my thyroid victims but had biopsy last April and benign who knows
