What is this white mass on my eardrum?
I’ve had issues with my right ear for a long time. It always feels full, like it needs to be popped. I visited an ent maybe like 8 years ago and they said it was fine. Since then I’ve gotten used to it but I did get a little ear camera to clean out my ear when it was blocked with wax one time. I’ve noticed this white mass looking thing coming out of my eardrum and wonder if I should be worried about it?

I'm not an expert bt any means, but we do use one of those cameras for my grandson. I think you are seeing a reflection of the highly focused light on the eardrum, not a mass or a growth. We have to wriggle the device around a good bit to get a clear view.

1 ReactionYou should probably have an ENT take a look again. We are just patients here like you, not quite qualified to give a diagnosis. Are you referring to the irregular area at the top of eardrum, or the bright light pinpoint reflexion at the center?
