What do you do when you have less than six months to live?
I have stage four CRC, which is metastasized to my bladder. All chemotherapies have stopped working, and I am now in the end stages. I plan on driving to Portland, Oregon to investigate death with dignity option. It will be a bucket list road trip across country. I hope to find some solace in the travel. Has anybody else thought of this as an option? Thank you, David.

1 Reaction@kono8888 I have only just read your post and the responses. I am so glad to see the support for your right to choose and so much practical advice in the responses.
I have stage 4 appendix cancer but I’m still ok. I know that when it’s not and my quality of life is awful I too have comfort knowing there are assisting dying options available I will use.
I live in Australia and my own state (Western Australia) and most other Australian states have VAD (voluntary assisted dying legislated rights).
The main thing is making sure to apply in time and jump through the legal hoops while still mentally competent, or miss out on the choice. I see you have already received that advice. It is important.
Please do keep in touch with us while you work through this process. Sending you best wishes ❤️🩹
