What am I seeing here?

Posted by red2roll @red2roll, Jul 9, 2023

Like others my symptoms fit a list of ailments and diseases. I’m waiting on lab work and a report on this ultrasound. The tech asked the question on my way out what options I was considering. “What???” My guess is ovarian cancer.
History is hysterectomy with left ovary remaining in 2001. A pelvic mesh to support bladder at the time of the hysterectomy.
Had laparoscopic procedure five years later to remove scar tissue that caused pain.
Just have a limited idea what is in these images. Patience is not a virtue that I carry. Please help.

@red2roll Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. We aren’t medical professionals here so we can’t read or help you interpret the images you’ve uploaded. You might receive the radiology report on the ultrasound before you see your doctor and while it’s great that you get to see everything your medical team sees it can be anxiety-provoking if you can’t interpret yourself what you are reading. When will you see your doctor so that you can have the opportunity to go over the results of the images? What symptoms are you having that led your doctor to order these tests and the blood tests?

When you are feeling anxious about your own well being and health it is very difficult to be patient. Just as you wrote. It’s the weekend and that makes it even more challenging to be patient. I find that when I’m feeling particularly anxious that movement is helpful. I like to do yoga with an online program (Yoga with Adriene on YouTube). Or go for a walk or putter around in my garden. Anything to get my body moving will soothe me and get me « out of my head » where I’m worrying.

What would you like to do today that would feel good to you?

What can you
