This is Walter, age 79 and for over 10 years, I’ve had constant headaches that one of my doctors diagnosed as CRPS. From my reading CRPS usually is in a limb. Have any of you had this condition in headaches? Did you ever find some relief?

1 ReactionDoes anyone in this group use Marugiana for back pain? I used the medical one which is very expensive but useless. TY for your input.
Well and sorry for the bad spelling!

1 ReactionI'm writing for a friend. Hopefully, he will eventually join the group. He was a healthy and active adult, and joined the military and served in the gulf war. He experienced several traumatic experiences, and was exposed to chemicals used in that police action. He has experienced skeletal pain, and the pain has moved into the mouth and groin areas subsequently. He has seen probably 60 medical professionals over the years trying to find relief. He is a gifted teacher, and when he is working with students during the day, the pain subsides, but in the evening, which is a different environment, the pain returns. As he works to provide leadership for his wife and two small children, the pain can increase. He is currently on strong medicine for the pain in his groin area, and he finds some relief for his mouth pain by drinking milk, and he wears a device in his mouth at night to help him sleep. The pain has just moved to different parts of his body. He has been in therapy over the years. I don't know if any of the Mayo clinics have teams that are successful in helping people like him. Or even someone who experiences this kind of neurologically or chemically induced pain to talk to. He is discouraged and just sees the pain increasing as it goes into different pasts of his body. As you probably know, the pain just wears you down and you lose hope.

3 ReactionsThe sad truth of my situation is that my chronic pain maybe untreatable.
That's a pretty pessimistic outlook. I have been searching for answers to my chronice pain for over six years. So many things done, so much research, drugs, SCS, MRIs, injections, etc. I will continue to be my own best advocate, What is the source of your chronic pain? What doctors have you seen(I have seen fifteen or more)? Please let me know.
I have done and continuing to conduct research for treatment and hopefully cures for my rectal area pain. (Had colorectal surgery about 10 year ago.) Lost count on the number of doctors, PT specialists, implanted spinal stimulator, which was useless; and the number of prescription OTC medications have taken over the years all providing very little or no relief.
I am sorry to hear that. Guess we’re in the same pickle. If you could find a doctor or group that would be willing to spend a little extra time trying to pinpoint what’s exactly going on in your body, that would be terrific . I will pray right now for you.
