weird symptoms with strep throat?

i've had strep throat many times before, to the point where i just know when i have it; this time i'm especially sure as someone in my home just tested positive for strep and my symptoms started a day or two after hers. however, this time i'm having some strange symptoms that i've never had with strep before;
i'm having pain going from the right side of my collarbone to what i believe is the right side of my sternum, which is making it harder and somewhat painful to breathe. these problems also get noticeably worse when standing or moving. i'm generally quite clumsy but i've been feeling a little more stumbly and shaky when walking than usual.
would this be anything to be especially concerned about? i have mild asthma if that means anything, and thankfully i have an appointment with my physician on tuesday, but i just feel bad and weird and i don't know whats happening.
