Weird pelvic pain ?
Has anyone else had this ? I have a doctors appointment on the 12th and I’m a little worried about what it will be .
I’ve had a brain tumour in 2015 and breast cancer runs in my family heavily.
On August 28th I got super super sharp cramps where I had to take my pants off in the car because having them press on my stomach was too much. Since then I’ve been having the same cramps off and on lasting longer, two weeks ago I was pretty much completely couch-ridden because of cramps. Then the cramps just stopped for about a week, but now they’ve come back but I have weird other symptoms , like I’ve had this dizziness, some headaches, EXTREME exhaustion, a weird spot on my throat has been sore, my backs been killing, my blood pressure has been a little low and I’ve been absolutely FREEZING, like temperature JUST above the ‘go to the hospital for too low’ mark. The cramps I’m talking about are in my ovaries and uterus and hips and sometimes down my legs !
Can’t be pregnant as I’m on Slynd , so I don’t know if this is all some how related to that ?
Any advice or suggestions or thoughts help !!

Have you had a pelvic exam lately and PAP? I’d probably schedule that so you can figure out the cause.
Hi, @shelbiee97 - I see you've joined Mayo Clinic Connect recently, so I wanted to welcome you. Other Connect members have mentioned pelvic pain before and may have some input for you: @thenazareneshul @rashida @dudashen @ferguson23.
shelbiee97, how has today gone for the cramps you've been experiencing?
Thankyou !
Today was pretty good, for the most part! I find that I notice quite a bit of cramping at night time and in the morning , so tonight (for the last 5 hours or so) I’ve had this weird full heavy feeling (I assume it’s in the ovaries : kinda where I’d think they are) and an off and on cramp and my pelvis is pretty sore !
I actually have a PAP coming up when I go in and talk about all of this ! On the 12th !
Oh, i see. I understand you being nervous. I might call and explain it to them and see if they could see you earlier. I had some pelvic pressure pain before and received a vaginal ultrasound. Mine resolved on its own, so I didn’t get a diagnosis. I hope you can get some answers and relief.
Even though you are on contraception, I might take a pregnancy test anyway. Sending best wishes that you feel better soon,
I’m sorry for all of this happening to you. My advice is KEEP YOUR DOCTOR APPOINTMENT! I have no idea what is going on but if I did it wouldn’t do you any good, you need a doctor! Write down your experiences & date them when you are calm. Then pray about it or have friends /family pray for you. Then KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT. Good luck!
I'm glad you have a doctor's appointment coming up, your symptoms started in August, they did not
go away, you had the courage to seek medical advice now, as mentioned write down what pain you have, location, how long the pain last, all the other symptoms you observed ...May be you have someone who can accompany you to the appointment. I hope you feel better soon.
