Weird New eye movement symptom

Posted by januaryjane @januaryjane, Mar 15 10:08pm

So last night I was doing work on my computer and my vision looked like it was rapidly moving back and forth for a few seconds. This is new and I was kind of freaked out shrugged it off. It felt like my vision was jerking. But nothing after that. I wasn't dizzy or sick. I put in a online message to my gp which she will get next week. Is this normal?

Could this possibly be an Ocular (Optical) migraine? My husband has had them and they affect your vision, but, there is no headache with them. See your eye doctor (opthamologist) as soon as possible.

Blessings & Prayers...

Went and got my eyes checked out. She said whatever it was is not related to eye health. Could be fatigue or related to something else but since it's only happened once and for a short time, probably won't happen again.
I just have Never had this strong jerk movement and vision going side to side.
Yes I hope it's a fluke too.
Like the grand mal seizure I had years ago

I’ve had times where my eyes suddenly vibrated back and forth rapidly like 10 times in a second, but it also only lasted a second like a burst of movement. Like an eye shudder. It usually happened when I was writing. It would throw me for a loop. It happened frequently for a couple years. Not an issue anymore. I have a rare neuropathy and felt it’s probably relate to that. I can tell you my neurologist wasn’t the least bit concerned about it. Neither am I. Hope it’s over for you.
