I'm exercising 4 days a week with weights and running 2 miles after that workout. I've also started removing almost all carbs from my diet. I don't obsess about it and certainly have a "cheat" meal once a week. Ya gotta look forward to something!
I just recently added using an app to track calories and nutrients in the food I'm eating. I apologize if this is frowned upon but I landed on My Fitness Pal for this. I try to get the proteins I need for my weight while keeping below the limits in the bad stuff like cholesterol, total calories, fat, sodium etc..
I've lost @15 of the original 20 lbs. I packed on so far. IT"S DOABLE!
