many medications can cause sort of a neuropathy. Statins cause it for me. I was on prednisone for 6 months and developed a weakness in mostly my right leg but it affected both. Prednisone also caused extensive fatigue. Any type of inflammation may cause symptoms. More information may be necessary.

3 ReactionsYou may already know this, but if you’re taking a statin, it is recommended that you take CoQ 10 as a supplement. It relieves muscle pain and soreness associated with Statins.

5 Reactionsyes. I took CoQ10. Various other things. Besides the muscle aches I developed an irritation to the lining of my colon. Very painful and bleeding. I have genetic cholesterol with blockage. I tried everything with a "tin" at the end. Nothing. Finally went to Mayo clinic and they put me on Repatha. Twice monthly injection. That fixed it. No side effects in the last 3 years.
