You need to get your eyes checked for an infection.

I’ve been told my dry eye condition causes that. It is especially bad when I’m outside walking and air hits my eyes especially cool air. Seems worse in the morning. Wearing sunglasses helps so the breeze doesn’t hit my eyes. One eye is worse than the other. Annoying because it’s constant outside. Forget keeping on water based mascara — gets in my eyes with watering. Waterproof mascara is hard on my eyes. I understand your frustration. Mine have done this for years. If yours just started watering then check it out but if it’s old news…

how about going to a cornea specialist?

After waiting 2 years, I had surgery to tighten the lower eyelids for watery eyes. My eyes are still tearing, preventing me from seeing clearly and enjoying other activities.

My eyes, too, tear excessively. I read up on this on the Mayo site and found some good graphics. Also, my OD brought in an Opthamologist in her practice
And he stuck a needle in my drainage duct near my nose to open up that duct. It worked and stayed open for about 3 weeks. He also had me take steroid drops for 2 weeks. I haven’t had this done again because I don’t want to take steroids. Perhaps I’m wrong about steroids but they do scare me.
